We collect: your name and email address, your recruiting emails (subject lines and AI-generated summaries only — we never store full email bodies), coach contact information extracted from those emails, and basic usage data to improve the product. We do not collect: full email message bodies, personal communications, financial aid information, or academic records.
We use your data to display your personalized recruiting dashboard — and for nothing else. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (Supabase for storage, Anthropic's Claude API for email summarization, Stripe for payments).
Nobody, commercially. Your data is never sold, licensed, or shared with schools, coaches, recruiting services, or any third party for commercial purposes. Service providers we use: Supabase (secure database storage), Anthropic Claude (AI email summarization — with data training opted out), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email only), Netlify (hosting).
We use Anthropic's Claude API to summarize recruiting emails. This is a privacy-respecting operation: we only process email subject lines and content relevant to recruiting. We have opted out of Anthropic's data training program — your emails are never used to train AI models.
You have the right to: access all data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, export your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email support@getdepthchart.com.
Athletes under 18 require verifiable parental consent before accessing the service. We require explicit parental consent via a signed consent form. We do not knowingly accept users under 13 — if we discover an under-13 user, we immediately delete their account and all associated data.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated statistics (e.g., "X emails processed") may be retained for product analytics.
We use Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) so each athlete can only access their own data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store credit card numbers.
